My son like those people. They keep him busy. His favorite is "gun in a bag". Took it apart and can't figure out how to put it together.

Yeah not for me... Too much plastic, and this comes from a Glock/HK composite frame pistol guy.
Dont care much for lasers either, but if they could develop a tiny high powered LED light and mold it into the frame under or in the guide rod/spring, that would be cool.-

The Curve was mentioned by the Range GM today as I was shooting the Browning 22 and the Colt 380. It does look interesting, if the price point gets under $350 I might try one out for grins, review said a lot, no malfunctions and good at 10 yards, all you need for a fist fight.
Did ok today with the 22 and a bit spread with the little Colt, I found some 380 ammo put together by a loader up in Wyoming, a bit hot 100 grain. The little Mustang had a bit more felt recoil, my old hand hurts a bit after 150 rounds or so.
Next up 357 Ruger Match Champion, 2015 purchase. Still waiting on the 22TCM Bolt rifle (damn!)....
I won't bore you with a spatter target.

Merry Christmas
So, I took the MINI and the contents of the safes over to the range with my son-in-law (Army SO group), previous unit was the 160th Nightstalkers.
So we shot a few, Glock 22, nice shooter, soft for a 40, Beretta PX4 9mm, Colt 380, Browning 22 and as a gift a nice Smith&Wesson 454/460 Casull owned by the guy 2 lanes over. What a beast and was it ever a flamethrower.
So, Merry Christmas to the folks on the gun-thread. Two from today.
LB shooting the 454, it has some serious recoil. :eek6:
Range has Snowman targets now!
Guess who shot the group with Glock 40!

For those of you needing a holster check this company out. Palmetto Leather Works
I have one of their IWB holsters for my XDS 3.3 and it is extremely comfortable. Worn it riding the Harley, driving the Mini and just around the house with no issues. Nice people that run and work the company.-

I have the Colt 380, I never have issues, but my daughter was here over the holiday, she was shooting and had a few not ejected on the last round in the magazine.
Cause was a limp wrist as noted, fixed her grip up a bit and all is good.
Also, a low power round in the 380 is not a good round in the 380. I have had good luck with Winchester white box (target) loads and PMC (Korean) loads FMJ.
My best 380 ammo other than my carry Hornady, is Liberty 100 grain FMJ out of Wyoming. It is almost a +P powder load, but it does increase recoil on the Mustang.
YMMV, but firm up the grip and try some FMJ 90 or 95 grain ammo.

I added a Hogue Handall grip to my LCP. The gun twists a little less in the hand now. My wife and I think the LCP is a better shooter than our Walther PPKs.
I've had some other guns catch the edge of the cartridge on the break of the feed ramp. A little smoothing with some emery paper take the edge off the ramp.-

Well poo and yea, in the same day!
For a few months I have been looking for a Ruger GP100 357 Match Champion, I passed up on the chance to buy a couple but funds were not built up enough. So missed the last one I saw.
Over the last year, since I started shooting again, I have been wanting to get a nice 9mm CZ, but the right one.
Well, my local JAX store just happened to get a CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical into the store last week. So today, when I could not find a GP100 at a store I wanted to buy from I went over to see the CZ again, it found a new home.
It is the short sighted 10 round mag. model, but I can fix that. I will get a chance on Friday to put a couple of hundred rounds thru it and compare to my Beretta PX4, I will give you some thoughts and post some range pics, if I can keep it on the paper.
One more down off my collection list.-

.500 S&W without the compensated barrel... Fun gun to shoot if you can hold it, but $80 for 20 bullets!

Ask promised previously.
Road trip with the Golden and the Countryman today, up to the store in Loveland to get the Ruger they had been holding for me.
You can see a set of pictures here, I will let you all know how much it hurts after I visit the range in a few days. I got more rounds of 38 special for target, I figure this will be a low mileage firearm.
Ruger GP100 MC pictures.
And one picture for those who do not click links because you could wind up on the not Prima 'HYDRO MAX' website, see the messages in "What did you do with your MINI Today" for the reference.
The GP100 feels right, nice grips and great wood, finish is excellent, big revolver, great weight, should keep the kick in check.
Range report soon!

357 Is hardly an arm/wrist breaker, they are actually pretty comfortable for a whole range day.
