Today's range Went to the Tanner Loveland Gun Show last Saturday, I picked up a new sight at a good price, today I had to try it out - Osprey mini red-dot. red/green with 4 reticules, 5 brightness levels. Final target, just for grins. Next will be the TCM 22 rifle when and if it finally gets here. :cryin: Don
Why not have me build you an AR15 over the winter Don? Prices on the parts are back down around where they where a couple years ago... Yet if you buy a complete cookie cutter rifle in a box, they are a few hundred $$$ higher than they where.
Its the Surefire rail, not free floated but one of the most solid mounted rail systems you can get. I was cloning my service rifle from OIF-1 but with better than military hardware.
I will stick with my target pistols and the new bolt TCM 22 I have in the order queue. We can talk about an AR style over a beer or Dr. Pepper some weekend. Don
Since it has been slow around here, I thought I would add this.... I have been looking for a Colt Mustang Pocketlite at the right price for some time. Solid and nice little 380, if I get it cherakoted to pink, perhaps I can get my wife to shoot it. In the meantime I will run it a bit and make it my carry unit for the MINI.
Another option would be these Hogue Pink Pearl grips that I put on my Sig P238. Wouldn't be my first choice, but my girlfriend likes it and she's the one who carries it daily. Cheaper than a Ceracote job. The 238 and the Mustang are identical so they will fit perfectly. These are great little pistols that are handy to stick in your pocket as you're going out the door and don't want the hassle of gearing up with a holster for a quick trip to the grocery store. IMO these little pistols are far superior to the less expensive offerings in this format. Better (actually useable) sights, easier to shoot, and because of this, easier to stay proficient with because they're just more fun to shoot. I also like that it is just a scaled down 1911. Same form, function, and a sweet single action trigger.
Used to have a Mustang in all stainless, that I bought in the mid 80's. Great little gun. Sold it a couple of years ago for a big profit.

Do you have a set of these targets? Think about it, that actually takes a bit of talent but he needs larger mags.
