Sshhh. It's a secret! It's so secret that they discontinued it in the '16 model.

Here I am spouting off, my 07 had it, I sold the 07 Hardtop, neither of my Countryman have a hidden compartment.

Guess it is the holster on the console and the lockable box for me. :)

I'm guessing my hidden compartment doesn't exist, or it's hiding...

Nope no hidden comment in an R60 that Ive found Don. Plenty of places to hide "things" but no compartment specifically for it.

Careful hidden compartments in Ohio are illegal.

The compartment must contain something illegal, or be specifically designed to transport something illegal, to be charged with that crime. It can be one of a myriad of charges heaped on someone once he is caught.

Since both my Countryman do not have a hidden compartment, I think I will go with the faux First Aid kit for CCW. :)

Quiet here... I follow this company over on FB in their private page area for us 22LR nut cases, etc. They have some stellar products for competition.

One of the dialogs resulted in them posting a free hat giveaway, I scored a nice hat.

Nice swag. VQ makes some nice stuff for the 10/22 platform. There are almost as many mods available for the 10/22 as there are for a Mini.

Man, I'm still waiting for my CCW approval. I broke down yesterday and called the Madison County Sheriffs office to see what the hold up was and they told me the hold up is with BCI doing the check. Apparently sometimes a check just gets stuck in the system and there isn't much they can do. But he did tell me that in the check they ran they didn't see anything that would exclude me, so if it gets to the 45 days and they don't have results from BCI they will just approve my permit. Oh well, so much for my plan to take the advanced CCW class at Vances this Saturday. Yard work it is.

My Ruger LCP .380 in a pocket holster fits nicely.

I'm heading over to my Daughters house today to zero in my Varmint plinker. The weather is much too nice to waste it hanging around the house. Although that is in the job description of my chosen profession (Re-tarmunt) The rifle started life as a Ruger 77/22 Magnum. Re-barreled it with a Green River fluted bull barrel to 17HMR, added custom stock, Timney Trigger, and a Nikon 6-18X40 scope. It's a real tack driver when it's zeroed in. Also need to back off on the trigger some. Need to get it back up to ~1pound again. Waaay too touchy as it is now.

I could reach out and touch something with that! It's about time people start posting rifles... Never had much use for or interest in pistols.

Figured that rifle would catch your attention, nothing wrong with a nice pistol. :)

Now that is a nice tack-driver, but the trigger might be a little itsy-bitsy light. :)

Who did the stock? If I ever get busy and out to an outside range a nice carbine would be nice to shoot.

    :)

No nothing wrong at all with a good pistol, just not my thing... And that seems to be all everyone talks about. Well pistols and concealed carry...

You know me, if it's less than 400 yards out, I normally won't waste a bullet on it.
