Ummm, PM me your asking price?

Redbeard, I have seen the Shadow 2, nice unit, I am thinking my range CZ will be going to Cajun for some upgrades in the Spring, they have some options for a range gun I would like to see on my SP-01, if they can find me a threaded barrel that will be a big plus, too.

Check with CZ Custom as well. They do good work.

I'm not ragging on Cajun but mostly they just put thier parts (they do make really good stuff for CZs) on your gun which you can do yourself.

CZ Custom does legitimate gunsmithing and fine fitting.

No PPK or PPQ in my collection, that is a thought. Hummm. :)

Was out shopping last week at Sportsmans Warehouse, was not sure what I might find, but decided to pick up a new compact for casual usage and a little bit of range time, most of the time it will be in the MINI while I am on the road.

Smith and Wesson M&P 40 Compact M2.0 with the 4 inch barrel. Have not had it long enough to go to the range so range report will be later, I suspect recoil might become an issue with this unit, I passed on the on the 40 with the 4.25 inch barrel, wanted something that was a bit more daily carry.

Let's see if I can upload a direct picture. :)

Follow up posting, two targets, the M&P40c 2nd image and the first image is the Beretta 9mm PX4 Storm both compacts, both shoot very nicely. The 40 has a bit more bark and recoil, but even my weak wrists found it tolerable/controllable. I pushed about 5 magazines through each today. The M&P is a first time shoot, so it will get better. A mix of 180 grain 40 fmj and Sig Hollow points which are a bit stronger than the fmj. The 40 had 3 failure to feed and go into battery, I had to oil the ramp after the first 3 mags, then all was well. I was using some pretty cheap Brazilian target ammo. Will switch to Federal or Winchester on the next session. I was shooting target 115gr 9mm, bought at the last gun show visit, but it performed well.

First time I have fired a striker fired piston other than about 5 rounds form my SIL Glock 19 about two years ago, it is definitely different in trigger control and getting the feel of the trigger safety. My M&P 40c has a manual slide safety, you can get it with or without. (old school here)!

Another guy was in shooting his Glock 40 (23?), my little groups looked better IMHO. :) :)

Well gents, I just took possession of my mid 80s Walther PPK/S today. Gun Broker proved to be very good to me!

OK, so now I've decided I'm not going to keep my unfired DPMS AR15. It's up for sale and I'm looking for a nicely kept Mini 14. Something is drawing me in that direction... Whats in a name anyhow?!

If anyone is in the know as to where I can find one for a great price, please drop me a note.

Shot the Cowtown Classic this last weekend and won the entire Carry Optics division. I am definitely getting better. Hopefully I will do even better at Area 4 in September.

Could it be that CA is on track to ban/confiscate the scary looking "AR platform" guns?
gunbroker.com or budsgunshop.com will probably be the least expensive places to look for a new or used Mini-14. It's a popular little rifle.
