I predict complete failure in the U.S. market due to price competition even within the brand. at 25,996.00 for the Clubvan, a Countryman S is only a few hundred more-with-far more outside "display" area, a larger interior to load into, and fully equipped instead of de-contented.

I can just visualize the new S Clubvan version now...or a JCW version to jack the price out of sight like they have done with the GP.... How many MORE models are we going to see?

If I had a business that needed this, I would buy a used clubman S and tear out the back interior, build a flat load floor, get the side windows covered in perforated vinyl and will have a S 'Clubvan' for less than what MINI is selling them for.
If I really wanted a new vehicle, a Ford Transit Connect MSRP is around $22k and it gets in the low/mid 20's for MPG (I average 23 in my MINI lol). So that is a much more cost effective and business smart for a vehicle compared to the Clubvan.
