Hahahaha..... I can see it all now. The BMW engineers have a plan in motion. It'll be part of a huge advertising program.

BMW....through advancements in our superior German engineering have reduced the carbon buildup by a massive 25%. Introducing the new 2013 three cylinder MINI engine.

 

Well, if that happens and I'm not saying it won't, then that will be the "S". You're old buggy's can't hold out but so long and then you will have one too.

I had a 3 cylinder SAAB 96. That was enough 3 poppers for me. If that happens & it most likely will I'll have to find an sweet R53 garage queen to keep on motoring.

 

I think they might be slightly improved this time around. Just guessing of course.
