There's a Triumph car club in Tallahassee Florida called "The Temple of Triumph" and I always really dug that name for the idea behind it, Cult of MINI has that same ring to it.

I got a big return wave from a guy driving an orange MCS convertible in Richmond BC today. I get so few return waves, I was surprised.

 

I wanna change my handle to the Blue Oyster...

Some woman driving a JCW gave me a gigantic wave when I got out of my car today to buy the polish for a scuff. Is this REALLY a thing? Ever since I bought my Cooper, I seriously noticed tons of them waving at me. Must always be a thing with buying cars where once you own one, you notice the ones that look like yours.

Yeah people wave at me all the time sometimes they get a wave sometimes they don't.

Somebody once said "hey we have the same car so I was waving at you"

I said: "No I have a 2005 S and you have a new Mini and its very dirty":devil::lol:

I think I've gotten maybe 2 waves since April. And one was from a dude pedaling a bicycle...not sure if that counts.

Usually when I drive past other Minis, they don't even make eye contact...

 

I have had mine for a month or so.I always wave first.So far I have had two wave back..

 

I don't wave, that's a Jeep thing that MINI tried to copy.

 

Depends in how grumpy I am. I might think of it after I've passed you. Check your mirror...

 

We only wave one finger in my area of the country. :devil:

 

I won't see you because I am paying attention to the road.

I would advise others do the same and STAY ON YOUR SIDE.:ihih:

 

Seattle has a pretty active MINI scene happening. PSMINI is an active group.

 

I haven't seen a wave back in quite some time.
