I did take her out today for a nice run to the post office and the bank.
102 +mph on the Ryan Dunn expressway. She is getting tired of sitting in the garage.

Awesome car, love the Evo 9 seats!

Question regarding your JCW wheel: If you could get a stock wheel padded and alcantara wrapped with whatever color stitching you want with high quality materials for around the same price as the JCW wheel, would you go with the JCW wheel again or full alcantara?

And is the padding on that wheel significantly thicker? I've seen the side by side photos but nothing compares to user opinions.

    Thanks man.

I had someone I trust that wanted to modify my wheel to make it a little thicker and wrap the whole thing in alcantara with red stitching but I said no. I like the different texture that both offer plus the 9 and 3 o'clock positions get the most use and alcantara would wear too much and be a PITA to keep clean. I like my wheel because it just a little thicker than the stock wheel which makes a big difference.

Yes, I am worried about the added wear on those spots, but I've read mixed things that ZHP owners have posted on bimmerforums about the wear and cleaning and whatnot. I love the feel though, but idk about it for a daily :confused5:. Thanks your opinion though!

For daily driving its fine and does not get dirty unless you eat a greasy hamburger and flies and don't wash your hands.

It is not hard to clean at all. Just a little water and maybe windex on a towel, blot it, and scuff with a brush. Then I just squeeze it dry with a MF towel or pack in the sun.

Thoughts after seeing this: I need more money.

I have a looong way to go, but this is a good one to model after. Good job.
