Well that was just too easy then. I'll search for something more obscure next time.

Mr. Jim, time for you to try and stumps us chumps.

Saab Sonett 1. When a SAAB engineer saw the first prototype, he said 'så nett', meaning 'So Pretty' in Swedish. It was thus named Sonett.

Bingo Eric is the winner!

I believe Sonnet means "so neat", but heck I'm old & that's what I remember.

A bit of history for you guys. Eric already knows this. :biggrin5:

Bingo! I drove it at age 14, at the Boeing Helicopter proving tarmac south of Philly. It changed my life--I was well on my way to being President of the United States (stone cold lock, people), but I ended up playing with cars instead.

    Allright, whaddayagot for me Crashton...

These very obscure cars where only less than 10 were ever built are darn near impossible to know without doing some machinations with Google...

That being said, the above is .....

Triumph TRS Le Mans of which only four were built.

I won't follow image codes back to source but I have no qualms about using Google for this. I'm so bad at this game I figure if I can noodle my way clear through to a right answer using search terms I have to guess at, for me it's quite an achievement. Even that's quite a challenge for me though given I have to be able to come up with a good starting point...you'll notice I haven't even managed a single guess so far. I think that means Google isn't an unfair advantage for all of us. If it gets easy for me I'll stop Googling but so far it hasn't even helped me contribute to the game.

FWIW the Falcon is a Citroen 2CV based kit car. I'd rather be driving the Kougar with its Jag mechanicals. Gotta love those wild & wacky Brit's. :)
