    Not Allard, not Lola..

    OK, here's a hint.
The name of the marque appears to be misspelled.

    OK - here's another hint.
At one time, an American marque had a car with a similar name and badge.

Crashton wasn't too far off with the "Brit-kit" guess. Same church, different pew.

Could that be a Falcon?

Or maybe a Kougar? The photo is such a small slice of car it's kinda hard on this old fart.

FWIW the Falcon is a Citroen 2CV based kit car. I'd rather be driving the Kougar with its Jag mechanicals. Gotta love those wild & wacky Brit's. :)

I also thought of them as fish-mouth cars.

I've worked on a few of those over the years, it has a nice little 2.5L V-8 with two SU's mounted crosswise (one feeds one bank of cylinders, the other one the other side), made about 140 hp IIRC.

I knew a guy who mounted one of those engines in a TR-3, it was pretty quick!

    Who's turn is it now?

A neighbor had Daimler Dart, I recognized that fender right away.

I have a bunch of car show photos on an SD card, give me a little time to select one and crop it for the quiz.

    Thanks,

    Dave
