Howdy everyone
Hello! I found MA while poking around, looking for information about extended warranties. I've got a cute little Hot Chocolate 2009 Mini Cooper Convertible with manual transmission named "Godiva" (because she's covered with chocolate and always has her top off...
I'm glad I found this. I'm having trouble figuring out how to search for things, tho...
I need to know - has anyone else had lots of trouble with the weather stripping?? Mine was replaced around the convertible top before the warranty went out (7k ago) and now it won't stay on. Plus, the weather stripping around the windshield is rotting!
I'd love any advice on these two issues! -
Search is not the best, sorry about that.
Might I suggest that you create a new thread in this area with the details of the issue please.

I am looking at getting a Mini and was searching for forums. After getting some disappointing options I found this one. It seems very much like the maiata.net site I spent 8 years on with my 94 Miata NA. I had to give up that car because of sciatica. You younger members may find out what that is one day, or maybe you'll be lucky enough to never experience it. Driving the NA was great until after 90 minutes or so, then it became terribly uncomfortable. I'm hoping the driving position in the Mini is better. My Dakota and '11 Outback are pretty good and I'm hoping it's mostly because the seas are more "chairlike" and the footwells are roomier. I guess I'll find out soon enough. My son is driving a '10 Cooper and it seems comfortable to me, although I never spent more than 30 minutes driving it. In the meantime the search is on for a '05-'06 convertible with a 6 speed. Prospects are looking good.

Hope it works out for you... -
Welcome, thanks for joining Motoring Alliance, the FUN and Friendly MINI Community. -
Hello Motoring Alliance members!
I drove a Mini Cooper for the first time about six months ago, and after loving it, pursued one when I came into the market for a new car recently. I just put a 2007 Mini Cooper S called SilverFox in my garage about a month ago, and I'm loving it! -

Found this looking for solutions to a coolant leak I have in my 2008 Cubman S. 2nd or 3rd hit using Duck Duck Go search engine. -
How I found Motoring Alliance
Nathan,
Thank you for this great resource. I am a new MINI Motoring Manager at MINI of Des Moines, in Clive, IA. One of our Motorers, Bob Dickelman turned me on to your site and I'm glad he did!
Thanks again,
