Mark-CHKMINI, found me on NAM and told me to walk toward the light!
There are some uptight folks over on NAM....

Started at the Loveland Mini Dealer site and somehow ended up here. I am also a member of NAM and love all things Mini so I thought I would join this too

I'm a soon to be MINI owner and have been a voyeur on this site since the time I placed my order in early September. I'm also a member of NAM. Found both sites by searching for info. And I love this site because it is the "fun" MINI forum. I appreciate all the info sharing from the members. Makes me confident that I'll be able to maintain my MINI for years to come. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply, Nathan!
(When the Forum Founder replies to a newbie post that fast it really says a lot about the forum!)
I don't have a code yet... roads were still "treacherous" according to the news yesterday, so I stayed inside and scoured the Internet for OBD/ECU Codes (which is how I found the Motoring Alliance!).
Got a friend who's going to drive me to my car (in her MINI Justa "Baker Street") this afternoon. Had hoped to print off your list so I could look up the code(s) there and decide whether or not to drive it.
I'm thinking there's something funky with my "Internet Explorer 11" that's preventing me from accessing the other pages. I'm getting a 404 error, even with "Compatibility" turned on for this site... just not processing the PHP properly (Thanks, Microsoft!).
I'll try downloading Chrome and see if I can get past page 1 that way.
But, really... even though I can't (yet) get to it, I appreciate the (several days worth of) effort you put into posting all those gazillions of codes! (Thanks again!)
I'm a "newbie" here but, from what I've seen so far, this looks to be a great place for MINIacs like ME! =)-

While sitting at my desk with a little free time on my hands, I decided to take a "Mini Break" and since I was going to be buying my wife a Cooper Hardtop, I should join a Mini forum.
So, I Yahoo searched "Mini Cooper Forum".
From the search results I selected several of the forums and checked them out.
After, several hours of research I decided this was the best forum.
So, here I am.:biggrin5:
Now, I just need to find some time to catch up on my work.

How I found MA
After many years of wanting one I was able to find a mini for me. An 08 blue (my favorite color) convertible (my favorite type of car). I signed up for the MOTD and that is how I found you guys. Hello.
