The Obligatory How did you find Motoring Alliance Thread

These posts make me smile. Back when I first signed up on the other site, I got this message saying "Welcome to NAM". I replied that the first time someone said that to me was 40 years ago and I hoped this would be a more enjoyable experience. I soon learned that I still had to keep my head down. :lol:

They're still going on, our club goes to the National Import & Kit Car Show each year, just happened last month.

When the salesman at Niello MINI in Sacramento gave me a information packet it had a list of clubs and Mini forums.

 

That would be nice of you sir.There were two but I think it was Andrew Lyon that gave me the scoop on this club? A real talker and full of good information about the mini community.
Knows just about everything on the new Clubman. The whole sales department was easy going and friendly. I even got my car washed while I went on a test drive.

 

In my case, it was while googling how reliable a Mini was and this forum helped me decide that. I expect endless stories to tell and lotsa fun to have in the days to come!

I found you from J Wong here in Colorado. I purchased a 15% pulley and need to get a puller and advice on a new belt, because Moss motor said I did not need one!

Sooooo, what gets attached to that pulley and belt?

 

LOL I'm a little late but it was Gnaster's sig over on NAM and I believe it was taken down shortly after I clicked.

 

I decided to join after hanging out with the Mid-Ohio Motoring Club. All new MINI owners will need advice at some point or another!

I am still trying to figure out what the deal is with the badges though...any advice let me know. I'll be hunting around the site...

You will find the advice here is given in a very friendly manner and sometimes it is even correct. :lol: (Just kidding)

What information, exactly, are you looking for on badges? If it is "Grill Badges" there are many of them, many types of holders and such. We need more information.
