    Yep, I am the infamous Babs that Crashton often mentions...since I have an '08 Hot Chocolate Mini Clubman, and since he is after another vote on BluBrit for car of the month....he invited (enticed) me to join the forum. Hi to all my Mini friends out there...

    I hope I am in the right place to answer. I bought a Mini in August 2012, a Coupe not an S(I have told many times already), but I love this car and I love to go fast and around curves. This is the best thing since 1975 when I got married. It's all mine, I drive it and clean it and sometimes silly me kiss it. Thanks for welcoming me. I stay on the computer looking for anything Mini.     I found Motoring Alliance by searching for resolutions to some issues I had concerning my newly acquired '08 MINI Cooper S. This was the ONLY forum that wasn't full of "You MUST take it to a certified MINI Technician" as the answer for EVERYTHING.

    OK, so I still ended up taking the car to the dealer for repair anyway but until I get a machine shop and a MINI friendly super computer up and running in my garage, it'll have to be that way. :biggrin5:

    Thank you guys so much for the warm welcomes and for all the work that went in to building this community and it's technical database! I've said it before and I'll say it again... YOU GUYS ROCK!

    OK, OK... Time for me to cool it with the schmoozing and brown nosing... I don't want you guys to start thinking that I'm all soft and huggy or anything. I hate you all. :biggrin5: :crazy: :devil: :incazzato: :lol:

    By the way, did you guys ever notice that this little fella :beer gets a beer every time he heils Hitler? :lol:

    I did a search from tapatalk for Mini Cooper. I also came from Metroplex Mini.

    I should add that I have a 2008 Clubman S. 60k and still loving it. My only complaint is the frequency of tire changes and new brakes.

    Finding the motoring alliance

    Bought a new mini and am looking to turn her into my own. Found this site via a web search and decided to join after reading various useful reviews. Glad to be a member!
