Many firsts

Hello Nathan,
Thanks for the greeting. At the age of 67,there are many firsts for me here. First for a convertable; a two seater; a Mini cooper (roadster 2013); a car I really have to care for; never used any type of forum so if I don't do this right please let me know it.
I decided to join so I can get suggestions on my new car...ie; floor mats, decals, seat covers, etc etc. Basically to spiff it up. I have had it 9 days so far.
Sooooooo, if I did this right please let me know if I am communicating with someone or all in the forum.

Lurked first, then joined

I found this site by doing a Google search for "Mini Forums." I looked at all of them, and I joined this one first - the day I ordered my JCW Hardtop. The car was built May 2, and now I'm waiting for news of its being loaded onto a boat.

 

I was fortunate enough to know about the site before owning a mini, thanks to CHKMINI.

 

My wife drives the mini. I'm actually a Jeep guy (just empty every pocket).
I found this site while trying to resolve some issues with the mini. We don't have a lotta cash these days so I need to try to fix myself. I am pretty handy (I can usually figure out which end of the wrench to use) and I follow directions pretty well. This seems to be a great site so far. I hope I,with some help can figgure dis thang out.Minis Arren't the easiest things in the world to work on,especially with out a service manual.:mad2:

 

I'm new to this sorta thing. I usually get enough info from lurking sites like this.
Maybe you can suggest where to post questions about "limp mode" issues.:fingerscrossed:

found it via friends in MINI groups in my home state. Great site and appreciate all the assists, nathan!

 

I found it through the Library of Motoring site. I just bought an 03' coupe and I was looking for a manual since mine came w/o one. I've already learned more about my mini in 10 mins than I knew in the last month. Love it here!

Hi everyone! I learned about M/A through Don Suitor, president of 5280MINI here in beautiful Denver, CO. Don is helping us to host a BBQ on June 30 at our NEW independent shop (Ferney's Lube and Auto Repair) in Englewood. We'll be listed on the map of auto repair shops shortly if we're not already (Nathan is pretty on the ball!) If you are in the Denver area, please come!
