For a 2005 Justa Cooper I'd start with a new thread here...

Cooper - Motoring Alliance :: MINI Cooper Forums

If it needs to be moved, we'll do so. We'll also send you a note it was moved with a link to the new location.

I picked up a new to me 2005 MCS, and was looking for a Mini forum. I spent a couple of days lurking around different sites and joined this one. M/A has an awesome group of enthusiasts who are very helpful.

    Stranded in Atlanta

My 2010 Clubman S threw a "Check Engine" light at me while stuck in snow-bound traffic heading home from work in Atlanta two days ago. Pulled off down a side street and walked the last mile home. (UGH!)

I have a OBD scanner and an Android tablet with the Torque app, and was hoping I could use it to find out what caused the "Check Engine" light, so I could decide if I should try to drive it home or call for a tow. Unfortunately, all the tow trucks in Atlanta are "booked" right now. (UGH AGAIN!)

Found the most comprehensive listing of 2nd Gen MINI codes on the entire Internet right here at Motoring Alliance (Thanks, Nathan!)

Unfortunately for me, I can't access past Page 1.

I guess "I'm just lucky like that." =P

Thanks for the quick reply, Nathan!

(When the Forum Founder replies to a newbie post that fast it really says a lot about the forum!)

I don't have a code yet... roads were still "treacherous" according to the news yesterday, so I stayed inside and scoured the Internet for OBD/ECU Codes (which is how I found the Motoring Alliance!).

Got a friend who's going to drive me to my car (in her MINI Justa "Baker Street") this afternoon. Had hoped to print off your list so I could look up the code(s) there and decide whether or not to drive it.

I'm thinking there's something funky with my "Internet Explorer 11" that's preventing me from accessing the other pages. I'm getting a 404 error, even with "Compatibility" turned on for this site... just not processing the PHP properly (Thanks, Microsoft!).

I'll try downloading Chrome and see if I can get past page 1 that way.

But, really... even though I can't (yet) get to it, I appreciate the (several days worth of) effort you put into posting all those gazillions of codes! (Thanks again!)

I'm a "newbie" here but, from what I've seen so far, this looks to be a great place for MINIacs like ME! =)

Interesting. In IE11 the Library sucks. Dang you Microsoft!

In Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera it is fine.

    YAY! Thanks again, Nathan!

Installed Chrome and I now have the codes printed! (Thanks, Google!)

    (And Thanks again, Nathan!!! =)

I've got lots of MINI stuff to share with the community (for those who are into modding their MINIs, anyway) so you'll be seeing more of me in the near future.

For now, tho, I'm off to retrieve "My Precioussss..."

    Home at last!

This really isn't the appropriate thread for all this, but...

Scanned the car and came up with a P3091 ECU Code: "Fuel Rail Pressure Pressure-Rate-Controlled, fallen below minimum pressure"

Not sure what caused it, but I cleared it (and the "Check Engine" light)... checked my fluids (just in case)... cranked her up and drove her home. She seems to be fine. I'll consider it a "fluke" (caused by unusual driving conditions) unless/until it comes back.

Thanks again, Nathan, for the comprehensive listing of 2nd Gen ECU Codes!

You guys will be hearing a lot more from me in the near future!

Stumbled upon the site by luck but I finally found a mini forum with DIYs that aren't just installing the same old stuff from the 5 aftermarket companies. I know theres more than 5 but it seems very limited with alot of the products looking very simple to produce myself with some time and correct materials.

Hiya. I found this site as I have a problem with My Mini Cooper 2003 and was hoping some one could help? When I close the doors, via the remote, the red light on the stalk blinks quite fast then My alarm goes off and the internal lights won't switch off. Is this a problem with My alarm or some thing else? This is really storting to do My head in so I really need some help :-(
