Yep. Dead set. Giken is overkill for my current setup.
I'll pull the whole thing again to do a Giken LSD and possibly clutch in the future if I add more power. All I want right now is for it to run. This week. Without spending a lot more money on it. And not keep the OEM clutch.

Looking good. But, this is a track car...A clean engine bay will cost you 10 Track Day Cool Points.

Yeah. No kidding. From the time he posted "Stand by" I went off to find the appropriate smart@$$ comment....

Till I could get back here to paste in he already edited the post to include the video.

One funny realization this morning. I was getting all the air duct work and hoses back on, and commented to Wellzy that this part of my car looks totally alien to me. I've had my car apart a zillion times, but I've never really worked on a manual MCS. The air ducting, water hoses, trans cables, clutch lines, etc. are sufficiently different that it's just barely recognizable. Really a weird feeling. Like it's a different car, almost.

I don't need that shirt. I'll never stop looking at myself in the mirror, and I'll never find reverse again.

The gate pattern is screwed up on purpose. We all felt it would be more entertaining that way.

I try to give my car a good spraying underneath after driving in any kind of snow/salt.

Some people just drive their cars in the winter and let the car sit dirty until spring... that's no way to do it.

Will you have this car at the Dragon? After following this thread I really want to see it and shake the owner's hand for doing an incredible job. It's a 'must see'...

    Thanks - and MOST DEFINITELY.

Look for the convertible with only two seats, that's half cool blue and half thunder blue. There will probably only be one like that.

But, be forewarned. It doesn't sit around Fontana much during the daytime.

    I haz HK agin

Crappy stock speakers on left, HK on right.

Doesn't look like HK, but is.

I like the look of the stock speaker trim, actually. I think it's more attractive than the HK on my old door panels. And now you know, it fits over the HK door speakers.

Also swapped out the mirror bodies, to get my heated mirrors back. With the red caps.

    Sounds soooooooo much better now.

When I fired it up to test, what song was on the radio? Doobie Brothers, Listen to the Music. Awesome.
