    I have three:

    1 Me
    2 Myself
    3 I

Although when it's done Jan and Colin get it for awhile. Jan, to make sure it's working properly, Colin so he can tell the world how much better the Rotrex is than the TVS...:)

Wanna know something cool? I'll flip 076900 on the odometer, en route to MOTD, or maybe just before. I have about 600 miles to go...

Pennsylvania, and a short stint in Ohio.

It's sad, but perhaps the best thing that could have happened to this car, at this point, was what happened. It was well down the road to ruin. The interior was great, the paint was good, mechanically the engine and transmission were good, but all the years of winter driving in salty conditions had done in the suspension, subframes, and virtually every fastener on the outside of the car. Plus all the aluminum was badly corroded, as well.

At least this way, the good bits are getting a second shot at life, becoming something that should have been, but never was before now.

Still fighting the P2270. Will swap in the OEM header and O2 sensor, and try it, that will probably get me past inspection.

    Some treasures came today:
Black microsuede boots w/dark red stitching, to match my seats.

BIG box... wonder what this could be?

    Ohhhhhhh Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Not going to use the bumper cover for a while... but I have it when I'm ready for it.

I ordered them both together, they only sent the bumper, but told me it was all in the same box.

Anyway, if the GP bumper fascia is in good shape it doesn't matter.

When I put the GP bumper on, I had to do some creative fastening on the lower part because of my splitter; once you've put in brake ducts and an aftermarket splitter some attachment points don't work.

FINALLY. Only took 2 months, a transmission swap, computer swap, header swap, O2 sensor swap, custom back-up light wiring...

I have never been so happy to have one of these things in my life. Took three tries to pass. But now certified street legal for 11 more months... registration renewed and taxes paid, w/late fee.

    NEW TAG ordered....

That's kinda backward. Closer to "cost me over 100 grand" and "not worth a dime".:arf:

Tap into one existing horn wire for signal to the relay trigger. Power to an inline fuse, to the main fusebox 12v connector. Ground to the ground stud near the main body harness connector (the round one). Then run ground and the output wire from the relay to the two horns in parallel. I run a pair of wires across the inside of the front bumper to get to the passenger side horn. I have to pull that wire back out each time I remove the bumper, but saved me from having to route it all the way around the back of the bay.

I found a spot to mount mine on the cone-shaped bosses in the area where the original horns were installed. It's tight, but it fits.

I like the idea, and to be honest, I like the sticker on the roll bar, it'll look nice on the track with the top down. With the top up, it won't look boy racer on the street. Perfect.

    Hey Paul,
I could actually see the sticker on the back "hip" (above and behind the gas filler cap) if you're looking for a body location... but embroidered on the roof is prime. Looking forward to seeing you and the cab at MOTD. Briefly, as you head out for another dragon run!
