Well I'm sure ALTA had something to do with it. I might not be able to prove it, but I firmly believe it, because I want to.

The tie rods look delicate for what we're doing to these cars IMHO. The ball joints it's not so much about catastrophic failure, I'm just tired of the boots wearing out and needing to replace them. Just wish there was a more durable alternative.

Duct tape is only good for 50lbs per wrap.... Use the whole roll, and it should hold... [emoji12] (oh geez, I just lowered myself to LXM level. [emoji30])

He needs to work on his self-confidence. :D

One sensor, and a leaky radiator. And oily cylinders. Otherwise, OK.

Should have oil test results back late this week... that should tell the rest of the tale.

Dale Adams Enterprises Tail Bone mechanic's stool

Out of the box, it's hard plastic. Still reasonably comfortable. But I wanted it more comfy, so I custom fitted a piece of yoga mat, and glued in place with 3M spray adhesive.

I love this thing. Very stable, big wheels roll over obstructions.

Excellent idea! I had a tonneau cover on my old '59 Alfa Spyder that covered the area behind the seats and if desired covered the passenger seat. Of course my seats didn't have headrests so the passenger seat option wouldn't work with the nice seats you have.

Paul was seen working with this company, developing the "BlimeyCabrio" front end module..... Paul was overheard... "Yeah, this will make it sooo much easier for me", when its in production...

VERY light. I can't wait to get this thing completely built and weighed. It's gonna be light-ish.

Curb weight of convertible was 165lbs more than hardtop... BUT
The cabrio body shell (bare) weighs 233kg... the hardtop bare shell weighs 244kg!!!
And the cabrio tailgate is lighter than the hardtop hatch, with glass.

With all the top, extra cabrio bracing, factory roll bar, etc. removed, my final build will be lighter than a similarly equipped, caged hardtop.
The cage is only about 60-70 pounds of steel... so even compared to an un-caged car... it's gonna be pretty light.

Then you should just send the 1.8 here, and I'll give you the Donor motor...

Light cars dont need big power anyhow, look at Lotus... [emoji12]
