What is that alien looking tentacle thing just above the clutch?

Colin reminded me... I need to move my oil pressure sensor and connect via a hose, so the vibration doesn't kill it. I have lots of extra AN lines and fittings, just need to get some adapters for it and I'll move it somewhere before I wire it.

Looking great Paul! Your EGT readings are pretty similar to mine... [emoji12]
Did the whole TVS ship, or just the I/C? -
What brand and size is the muffler or resonator in the center?
-
Paul--I don't remember--is your Vipec in yet (I'm hoping yes) Reason I ask is I know nothing about auto ecu's (and have less desire to learn), I'm just wondering if the autoenginuity tool will work through the OBDII once the Vipec is in.

Pretty much a perfect fit for that location. I do need to clearance the heat shields a bit more , it's definitely tight. But it will work. -
See what Paul says, but after spending a considerable amount of time debating Rotrex, TVS, and turbo this is how it played out.
Rotrex=High RPM monster. Great for someone who is a track god, faster overall, and can make more power depending on how you set it up. More expensive. But you're going to be living in the high RPM band to wring the most out of it.
TVS=more response down low for us mere mortals, who love third gear and rather stay in it then shift into second on the track; in other words, easier to drive fast for us underlings. Gonna be a bit more friendly if you drive the car on the street. 300 WHP is where I've always wanted to land. This setup will probably make a little more than that, but 300 is where (for me) the car will be balanced across the board. Call me crazy, I really don't want a ton more than that.
Turbo--great power, more potential than the TVS, but it's a turbo. Turbo's are bad. Just ask Shanne. Seriously though, at the end of the day, I wanted to stick with a SC; it's easier for me to troubleshoot, I like the linear power, although Jan's turbo setup I'm sure is going to be fine with lag, where it kicks in so you don't get a nasty shove accelerating coming out of a turn, etc. -
I know the TVS is low - midrange and the Rotrex is hi-mid through redline power. I've spoken with Jan at length on it. Turbo's are definitely all out power, but I've never driven a turbo with a power delivery I truly loved, I really like linear power.

^^^ EXACTLY! [emoji2]
I was hitting third in a few spots on the Dragon... [emoji6] Christie can vouch for that! [emoji12] Bet the Porker won't do it though. -

I may need to redo my jackpoints with the new side skirts...Problem is I have the TSW mounts with the toggle bolt like the one on your hockey pucks. Any ideas how to get that toggle bolt out now that it's deployed?

It's doubtful, but I'm sure Jan thought up another solution already. If not, jack points are quick and easy to fabricate.

OEM jack points plus the Aero/GP extension blocks will accommodate most any skirt design. But I prefer my solution.

Tell me about it! I should have ditched all my brass in 2007 when it was $2.50 per pound, currently sitting on a couple hundred pounds waiting for it to go back up. Last run of steel scrap I took in gave me a tank of gas to get there and back. [emoji20]
