Dale Adams Enterprises Tail Bone mechanic's stool

Out of the box, it's hard plastic. Still reasonably comfortable. But I wanted it more comfy, so I custom fitted a piece of yoga mat, and glued in place with 3M spray adhesive.

I love this thing. Very stable, big wheels roll over obstructions.

Ah, so you modded your seat so you could mod your car. Gonna do one of those, except with better aero, Jan has a kit for those seats.

Dead MINI #3... 2006 Dark Silver cabrio, full toggle panel of options, HK audio, DSC, manual transmission, manual climate control. The PERFECT shell for Locutus Mk2.

Have a bit more stuff to strip today or tomorrow, to ready for the cage fab.

Hauled my gear to SC, to help the previous owner pull the engine.

While there, also moved his latest salvage MINI from his apartment, to his storage unit. Lovely 2005 Purple Haze cabrio, that was well-loved by someone, before it hit something. Salvage MINIs make me sad.

The car pulled well on the UHaul dolly... but those things do NOT back up worth a crap, with the bed pivot built into them...

Pulled it home between 11PM and 5AM, with a nap in the middle. Heard most of Coast-to-Coast AM...

    When Dick said this...
I think he was onto something. At the time, I was convinced I needed to retain the OEM roof. But now... not so much.

Excellent idea! I had a tonneau cover on my old '59 Alfa Spyder that covered the area behind the seats and if desired covered the passenger seat. Of course my seats didn't have headrests so the passenger seat option wouldn't work with the nice seats you have.

It IS kinda nuts, that two weeks to the day after the death-defying Flying Wallenda stunt, I picked up a new shell for the car...

I think you are some kind of superhuman MINI wrenching god.... Who can do death defying tricks as some kind of side act....

I'm thinking this might be one of your favorite movie clips....

I'll bet you get a strange look from the motor vehicle worker when you show up to transfer the title.... Again...

They are going to want to know what kind of illegal racket you've got going on...

I just wish you lived closer. Short of a professional I don't know anyone else who's taken these apart and put them back together again as many times. Except for maybe Dick. So I'll change that to taken apart and put them back together within a reasonable amount of time and so that they don't explode.

Paul was seen working with this company, developing the "BlimeyCabrio" front end module..... Paul was overheard... "Yeah, this will make it sooo much easier for me", when its in production...

No thanks. I can do a full engine swap, in the time it takes that thing to cycle.
