Don't fret. I bought two matching bicycles for me and my wife in matching colors. Not so me and her can match, but because the color matched my convertible.
Sometimes something is just so perfectly awesome that even if you dont need it or wont use it...it is still irresistable! If I were you I would find an excuse to use it...kinda like justification for the purchase.
I bought a tie because it matched my car, there's nothing MINI themed about it but it's certainly space blue with black and chrome accents.
