Thanks...it's been a great car and I have NO plans to part with it, even though it just turned 100k miles this weekend.

Ahhhhhh, yes. I remember one year, as I was leading a few cars down I-75, I was smoking and had the window cracked open for the smoke to trail out. At our next rest stop, I was told to bring up the pack and not lead anymore, because the smoke was getting some of the drivers and/or their passengers nauseated. :ihih:
Thanks so much! Since the tranny fluid change, the S is running like new, so I'm hoping it will be around at least for the next 50k or so [106k right now since last October]. Since we are both older, we gave up on the BMW CCA HPDEs, though...the S because of its miles and me, because my helmet expired. It WAS fun, though...great memories. We plan to make it together to MOTD next May, and yet ANOTHER Cigar Salon!:ihih:
It's always nice to see a well maintained first generation MINI that the owner plans to keep around for a number of years to come.
