Every time I try to clean my MINI under my shade tree a bird poops on me and MINI. I am glad you have a shade tree big enough to hold a forum under:D

I'm not sure which is worse, when a bird poops on your MINI:mad: or when a bird poops on you:incazzato:

Hence your flurry of activity today...

Beautiful here. No clouds, upper 60's. Such a shame that a decent driving road is 1/2 hour of urban sprawl to fight through away.

Good day for cleaning out the garage and potting some plants that will bake in the TX summer.

Had a great day today, it stopped raining but was overcast. The great part was I gave Fungo Squiggly a bath. She sure looked nice until I parked her in the garage. I didn't notice all the water marks when she was outside. I really need to do something about my hard water issue.:incazzato: I think I'll have to come up with a dedicated distilled water sprayer as a final misting rinse.:yesnod:

Yeah, I still need to give that distilled water sprayer a try. But I have determined that Hydro looks like crap unless you wipe/buff it, so water spots are not a big deal for me, as our water here is not hard.

We need a good rain here to wash all the salt and winter grit off the roads. Washed SLVRBAK this weekend, drove about 100 miles yesterday and the tail looks like I ran a Pro-Rally course:arf:

A good way to get the winter grudge and salt off the under carriage is to use a lawn sprinkler. Set it up at one end and let it run a few minutes, then drag it a couple of feet, let it run there a couple of minutes, repeat.

Rain starting here, which could turn to snow overnight:incazzato:

So a dent removal, window tint, detailing shop opened up in our neighborhood this week. Not sure how good they are with dent removal, or tinting, but I'm going to pass on their $20 hand wash, wax, interior vacuum:rolleyes:

When there is not enough time in one day to do a full detail, what I do is complete whole sections. So, wash whole car, rinse, alcohol spray an area, say the roof(to remove old Epic), clay the roof, polish as needed, Amigo, apply Epic. That way the old wax is still on the rest of the car, and the roof is complete.

Then next session repeat, say the bonnet. Next session one side, etc. When the whole car is complete, I do another coat of Epic on the whole thing.

I do all the trim first with BW to reduce the need for as much tape.

Got a fresh supply of cheapo MF towels yesterday. $12 for 24. For the price they are not bad towels. Will be good for wheels, engine bay kind of things.
