OS GIKEN twin disc clutch will handle anything you can throw at it. I think they only make it for R53’s and R56’s but I am sure they will come out with the F56 version soon. While you are doing the clutch should replace the crappy OEM LSD and the OS GIKEN super-locker LSD for $1,750.00. I love my OSG LSD over the crappy OEM LSD. This way your trans will be bulletproof as long as your motor stays together.
The OSG twin disk is rated for 550 + HP so I am sure a MINI will not be an issue no matter how much HP you make.
You can google them and expect to pay at least $1,700.00 to $2,000.00.

Impressive gains for just a reflash/tune.
I already have traction issues stock. I can't imagine what would happen with more torque.
The engine internals can take the tune just fine. The issue that seems the plague the hard 93 oct tune is the clutch not being quite enough to hold up to the torque.-

What I have seen posted is the clutch while engaged with the flywheel under the hefty torque will slip.
Also if the clutch in the F56 is similar in size to the R56 then that is a TINY clutch. Not a whole heck of a lot of surface area for contact.
My R56 had a sprung clutch plate and a dual mass flywheel to help with smooth engagement. Not sure of the F56 is the same setup or not. Feels similar. -
Ok - so it slips under power.. I’ll have to look into that some since a 3rd gen is what I’m looking at.. what type of power does it take to create this situation?

Well from the comments (no personal experience mind you) over 350 ft-lbs seems to be about the threshold. However, I think that has to do with how hard and fast the torque comes on. Based on NM/Bytetronik/Evolve tunes that have been posted about.
Bytetronik is about 15 mins from my house. Might be worth giving them a call. I bet they can tell me at what point clutch slippage is an issue. -
Anything 350+ on a front wheel drive car is kinda pointless. You won't get grip out of a corner or off the line. Sure my R56 could use a flash tune to get a few more horses out of it, but she doesn't need much. Maybe 50-70 more would be perfect.
