Just over a week old from delivery and he already has a DoS CAI (love it) and blackout from Vinyl Styles. Door handles to be blacked out with custom covers from Aesthetic Creations within the next week or so. "Cooper" to be shaved shortly.

Spring will bring lowering springs and a powder coating of the wheels black.

    Congrats Matt!

I had all kinds of Samuel L quotes to post, but the swear filters had their way with them and asterisks are sometimes difficult to read... :biggrin5:

    Woah! Nice!

I was seriously looking at the DoS CAI. Looks like a good unit. Is it nice and loud? Did you dod the noisemaker delete as well?

I didn't consider the noisemaker delete and still don't really know what it does (despite an obvious sounding name). The DoS intake isn't what I would call loud but unless you have your stereo super loud you will hear it. Sounds like your car is breathing...which it is.

The DoS Noisemaker Delete Kit fits the 2007 to 2010 MCS (turbocharged) and the 2009 to present factory JCW. It's not needed on the 2011+ MCS, as MINI deleted the "noisemaker" feature on the N18 engines.

Any other questions on this front, drop me a PM or email. I don't want to derail BrewSwapGuy's thead.

Welcome from a fellow MB owner. Great looking R56. Now all you need to do is slam that baby!
