Ah! That makes a lot of sense. I have used Autometer A-pillar gauge pods in several of my previous cars, but I noticed they don't have one for the Mini, which is a crying shame because the fit and finish was always fantastic. Oh yeah....sway bar.
Road trip!! A good drive with a good meal at the end.... Sounds like fun!! Hmm....I'm how many days drive away....
Lol...I still say we do a left coast right coast swap. You guys come see us and we will grill up a storm. Then next time we will come see you, and you can show us the dragon. Deal?
I'm all for seeing you guys at the Dragon, but I've done my time in CA and don't plan on seeing it again. Besides, my ex still lives there. Good luck with your RSB install Stephanie.
My sis lives in Volcano, there are some great roads on the western side of Tahoe! So Stephie, did you git 'er done this weekend? The best way to learn is to roll up your sleeves and go to work...
I wish! The swaybar is scheduled to arrive this Friday and then it's just a matter of finding the time. The more I look at the instructions though the more confident I feel about it. At this point in time I'm not too worried...we'll see how many GI Joe Band Aids we use.
I can tell you now what you're up against. The floor, rear sub frame and fuel tank. It will be like an old game of "Operation" but you will not get shocked. Jack the car up and put it on jack stands (2) in the rear, remove the tires. disconnect the (2) end links from the old bar, disconnect bolts that hold the old bar in and loosen the (4) long rear sub frame bolts. FYI I back them all the way out one at a time and then put them back in for about 4-5 full turns. This way you will have plenty of space to play "Operation" with the anti-sway bars.
Maybe these are in order.... http://www.amazon.com/Accoutrements-11754-Crime-Scene-Bandages/dp/B0095TEB8O#
