I am so disappointed, I thought this was a thread about the "one ball" exhaust mod for a first Gen R53.:lol::lol::devil:

Me, I think Lance fessed up for his own gain. What is that you ask? I think he'd like to compete in Triathlons. Me thinks he is hoping for some forgiveness. Lots of bike racers at the top were doping, doesn't make it right though.
I'm sorry he got sick & happy he is well again. Hope he can do something with his life since making a shambles of it.-

The guy has had cancer, he lost a very important part of his body, he lost all of his
endorsements , he is banned FOR LIFE from cycling , he is the joke of professional sports
How much more can he be dumped on.....all of his issues are self-inflected-

As a Licensed Cycling Official you all don't know the half of the story we do .... be glad to chat when it's not on a public forum .... but I could put a lot of things into perspective for you - did anyone ever think maybe the cancer was brought on by the drugs ?? hmmmmmm me thinks there's tons more to this story than what you read in the press
I've known Lance since he was a snot ....I mean Tot :biggrin5:-

Well, It was a good move on his part to open up to Oprah.
1. He knew she would be pretty easy on him. (No Mike Wallace )
2. She is a empathetic host
3. He confesses on the Oprah network which means..... No one is watching-

I doubt the drugs brought on the cancer. If so there would be all kinds of sports figures with cancer as we speak.. Thing is before the cancer he wasn't much of a bike rider.
He only got great afterwards... My guess is he was taking something to get back in shape thru all that and just kept on taking it..-

I can't see the video above on work computer, but I bet he was on some of the same stuff as all the athletes that have gotten caught in the past 5-6 years. The Cream and something else. It was undetectable for a long time and apparently some years ago someone came up with something that could. Each sport just didn't always test for the same stuff and or at all... Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, the black female track star, and the list goes on that used it and eventually got caught..
Lance has already made his millions so it doesn't really matter. Just hope he hasn't blown thru all of it.. or actually I do.. Poor ole Lance!!!! -

I have no sympathy for the man. He deserves to be banned for life from ALL competitive sports. Let him try and live off of that reputation.

Sorry, but all this reminds me of the old R&R song, "Dirty Laundry".

The cancer thing WAS bad, but it was also because of his Live Strong group's pressure that made him finally fess up, after years of denial. To not admit his cheating would have been the demise of that organization's creditlibility [continuing to support a cheater while still trying to show a brave face against a deadly disease].
