I am looking to run 225/45 16's on my 2002 Cooper S. I have koni yellows and TSW springs. The ideal rim width would be 16x7.5 - anyone have advice on the offset needed / what rims are available that would fulfill the specs. I have been looking around but haven't found much. Thanks in advance.
I'd go to tirerack's or discount tires website and either input your spec's into their search engine and it will narrow down your choice immensely to just wheels that more than likely fit. Talk to a rep too and make double sure. You can take that info and buy something from them or at least know exactly what parameters you have to work with My experience is most other sites assume you know what your looking for
I'm running that size in Hankook RS2's on some SSR Comp knock-off rims they are 16x7 et 44. No rubbing unless heavily loaded w/ large dips or bumps. No problems at all with normal or even hard driving.
