The Dart is better than the Caliber that originally replaced the Neon... Still waiting for a real SRT version to make production, but it's doubtful. [emoji20]

A 370Z was on my short list when I ditched the Porker, but the 135 ultimately won. The Nismo Z's are awesome cars, but still expensive even used, and the regular Z just wasn't cutting it.

As long as my Parents can get a house where they're looking in Canyon City CO soon, I will more than likely be moved in by MOTD. It takes on average 45 days to go from "under contract" to closing on a house these days, so there's going to be a lot of wait time. [emoji853] 45 Days to get my parents able to move out of mine, however long it takes mine to go under contract then to close once it's listed, then another 45 days to close on whichever place I pick... So if everything works well, I will be headed south in the early spring (February/March) the MINI and all my tools/shop equipment won't be coming down until the garage is built though. I plan on paying cash for the house, paying off the BMW and my other bills off of the sale of my house in Denver, then pulling a Home Equity loan ASAP to build the shop and throw an RMW 1.8 in the Rat. The long delays between now and moving time gives me a good chance of getting through all the VA's red tape getting my disability approved while I'm still here, and whatever is left with that can be handled in Knoxville when I get there.

It's a solid plan, and the house I am most interested in has been on and off the market for the last 2 years, so hopefully everything works. [emoji2]

Sounds like some one is getting new tires for Christmas.

Nice review.

 

If you drive those tires to Christmas you'll be shopping for a good body shop. :wink: Going with a dedicated auto x setup is the way to go. You may want to start daily driving on your all seasons & swap them out only for the track days. No sense to wear out your sticky rubber driving to work & back.

Best thing is seat time. Go out & find out where the limits are. A track day will help you do that.

 

No SRT version as it will be discontinued...2016 is the last year. With that being said there is a good aftermarket presence, AND Jan has a tune for this car. Not sure if it will work on the 2016 yet, though...

 

I understand parking lot burn outs are a good way to help you on your path.
