My MINI just told me its birthday.... Never knew the day, only the month and year.
So it's a Friday build.... Better than a Monday build I guess??

Found this on the interwebz yesterday to recalibrate the speedometer.

If you turn ur key to the second setting on your ignition and then press the black button that controls time and trip millage it's puts the car in test mode which is very useful for calibations and resetting stuff if things freeze or tempory pack up. To do this press the black button so you see the trip distance hold the button Down for lit 15sec first the distance travelled will re-set then then you will see it say TEST now release and then press it again and you will see TEST 2 leave it and watch all ur dials go on a madness lol if u want u can take a pic of the speedo at 150mph lol and claim u hit it lol (pathetic but can be done lol) this will not harm your mini and yo cancel simply take ur key out. I used this to reset my friends speedo clock.

Best hint ever for changing oil on the first gen cars.......press the filter into the housing firmly so it enlarges the hole on the bottom then put it into the canister. Makes it so much easier to get the filter screwed on.

If not careful you might end up with a ʇɹɐʇs button.
