Bringing this thread back because I have another question. On my R56 when I bought it in October 2016 I didn't notice that I have a different sized tire. Right now 3 tires are 205/45/R17 and one tire is 205/55/R17, now when I go with my snow tires which I got from TireRack for my R53 they obviously they are all the same size, but I kept the All Season Contis on until the first snow here in Chicago until mid December and while I had these tires on I was getting Hill Start malfunction and DSC Malfunction, once I put the Blizzaks on I never got these codes but once I put the Contis back on I have been getting these two codes a lot. So could it be that the 205/55/R17 tire is causing this or am I hitting the pot hole ridden streets of the wonderful city of Chicago just right to be getting these codes? Should I not worry considering these tires have about between 4/32" and 5/32" of tread and just wait until I need new tires or should I just get new tires now and wait and see if I get these codes again?

All those issues are due to that one wrong sized tire. It is turning slightly slower that the other tires & triggering your fault. If that tire is on the front move it to the rear now, or better yet get the right sized tire. Better yet buy a set of 4 new tires.

Thanks guys. Two people who I respect saying that I'm right. Wow what a day!

Thanks Crashton! When I had the Contis put on the dealer pointed it out and had the 205/55 put on the back. The car is still throwing the codes but I think in a few months I will start looking at TireRack about getting some summers. -
