Explanation - For those of us that are happily single Dating Season is closed from Halloween to Valentines Day. Otherwise one might be stuck in something horrid for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Valentines Day.
Hell Dave, my wife's out wash' and wax'n the car as we speak, and it's before 0800. Next, she'll make me a big breakfast, take me out ta lunch and a movie, then get home just in time ta whip up that four course meal she's got planned... All this and not even a hint that I've gotta do anything but enjoy the day! Now that's a wife man!
Naw, just kidding.... She's still asleep. Would'a been the perfect day though.
For us, today is the final leg of a week-long vacation to the Caribbean. Sitting here in Miami waiting for our flight to LA, we just keep saying "There's no place like home!"
And thanks Dave, in celebration of Bacon Day, I've decided I'm having a BBQ bacon burger and a cold one here at Shula's before we go. :beer
What a small world it truly is!! Wished I'd known who to look for to say howdy. When ya get to St Thomas, take Pasquale's bus tour around the island. You can find him where the trams from the ships drop off at a corner stop in town. He's got a green bus with red and white stripes on the side. You can't miss this guy! He's big and well tanned and does a great job entertaining his guests!! (Rum shots and all...) Have a fun time!
Today @6:39 pm, I am celebrating 5 Years, free from the cigarette addiction.
Cigarette's no longer control my life, the cravings have been gone for awhile now, it no longer has a hold on me. My sense of smell has returned to a super degree, beyond what I remember and burning tobacco stinks, that's for sure. Bronchitis every Winter is a thing of the past.
I was real stubborn about it and made up all the regular excuses.
That's right, I'm not unique.
