    Been at the VA the last couple of days. Today's the day I got a clean bill of health from PET scan and my two Oncologists. Retest in February to confirm, then once a year. Now I don't feel so bad about getting stuck with a Volcanic Orange 2016 "Justa" as a loaner. Things could be much worse.

    Ahhh, tonight was a great night... A group of five of us competed in the 2nd Annual Movember 105 Enduro GoKart race. This 105 lap charity race took place at the MB2 indoor electric karting track here in Clovis. Our team, SmokeEaters, was made up of four firefighters (3 retired and one still early in his career) and my small business owner buddy. Entrys were limited to ten teams of five drivers, each driving a maximum of 15 laps before each pit stop. We qualified and started fourth (after a fourteen lap qualifier) from a standing start and were in second place at the first pit stop...

    After six semi-frenzied pit stops, numerous stoppages due to the usual bumping and punting, and all those laps run in just under 70 minutes, us old guys captured the 2nd Place iron!

    What a great bunch of fun for everyone who came out to play!

    Stopped at the gas station for lunch...
    They actually replaced the 3 week old rotisserie meats sometime within the last 36 hours, so I figured I would participate. As luck would have it, there was ONE hotdog bun left in the container under the "grill", and A little cardboard Kum&Go weenie box to go with it... :D

    With enough hot sauce it was edible. ;)
