    The date; September 20, 2000 - The City of Emeryville FD, Engine 2442 assisting the City of Oakland FD, requested to assist two Oakland firefighters in hand laying a 5" supply line to an Oakland engine. As an obstacle was encountered at the hydrant, Jim did what we've all dreamt of doing. Jim always said, "Problem solved through Firefighter Ingenuity."
