You see me once a year in person and virtually once a month.

World Radio Day 2/13
The World Radio Day seeks raise awareness about the importance of radio, facilitate access to information through radio and enhance networking among broadcasters.
Radio has to be recognized as a low cost medium, specifically suited to reach remote communities and vulnerable people: the illiterate, the disabled, women, youth and the poor, while offering a platform to intervene in the public debate, irrespective of people’s educational level. Furthermore, radio has a strong and specific role in emergency communication and disaster relief. There is also a changing face to radio services which, in the present times of media convergence, are taking up new technological forms, such as broadband, mobiles and tablets. However, it is said that up to a billion people still do not have access to radio today.

Today, Valentine's Day 2012..... I shook the hand(s) of Newt Gingrich and his lovely wife. He was alive and well, dining in the booth next to me and my wife, at the Manhattan Restaurant in Fresno, California. Awesome!

Man, what a week this was.....
Shot my whole weekend last, spending 8 hour days Saturday and Sunday working on quoting out a really big job. Then the changes started..... "Well, what would it cost if we did this or we changed that"..... More price crunching.....:sosp: "Well, that's too much, what would it cost if we cut the project in half"..... More price crunching......:incazzato:
Meanwhile..... Another big customer enters the picture....... "Are you busy right now"..... Ah yeah.... I'm working on pricing out a big job that keeps changing...... "Well stop what your doing and get over here right now, we need you in a meeting"..... OK, I need a break, I'll be there in 30 minutes......
I won't name the company that wanted me in the meeting, but it's the very same company that has these angles with real wings that walk up and down runways with hardly a stitch of clothes on. HaHa.... Like I said I needed a break....
It's these girls....:arf:
Well, to make a long story short..... I got "BOTH" jobs.....
Yeah, some week......
Oh yeah, I took the MINI for a short spin after work..... Just to celebrate....
Edit..... Oh yeah..... I like my job......:drool -
