    Happy Birthday.

    I walked by my Mini today. Did some planning to put the winter wheels on real soon. I may even try and drive it on Monday.

    Wonder which will hurt more, hitting the pothole or moving the steering wheel real quick to avoid said pothole.

    I hear you. Amongst all the people with lack of follow-through though (which sometimes seems like the majority of people I grant you), the few you find who really do mean what they say make the frustration worth it. :)

    If you lived closer, I'd totally bring you a sandwich right now. ;)

    Today is a day when everyone should take a moment to pause and pay respect to the memory of this horrific day in our Country's history. The Pearl Harbor trip is so worth the time. Planning a trip to New York this next year to visit the memorial at Ground Zero. I think it's finally time.

    Today is the day I woke up thinking I will wax my car and maybe wash a few more. I also felt a little grumpy and was being a smart a$$ but in a funny way. I thought I must be channeling Dave. Well I thought maybe the cure for this would be a good stiff drink, but me and fire water have hade to part ways. Maybe I will just have a smoke oh wait I don't smoke.

    Today is the day my youngest is going to be in a beauty contest. Don't get me started about the contest. I think girls have enough pressure like it is, but she wants to do it. I am proud and I know she will be the cutest girl there.
    I will have a nice long drive in the Mini to get there.

    The better way to look at this is to see what a gift your family has given to the next family.

    Now they will get to put down their roots right next to yours and someday will look back with fondness as well.

    She's doing fine, and keeping a good sense of humor about it... Only 9 more weeks of chemo and radiation.
