The day I got back from a week at my girlfriends condo at Orange Lake in Kissimmee, FL.
I drove down with my daughter and her two kids and the girlfriend brought two of her grand daughters with her from Asheville. Interesting week with my eight year old grandson and I being outnumbered 5-2, but it was a relaxing week, relatively speaking. Just what I needed before starting a seven week regimen of chemo and radiation.
Obviously didn't take the Mini, but the "Galactic Cruiser" (Suburban 2500HD) averaged almost 15 MPG. I was happy with that because I usually get around 13.-

Thanks guys. Your good thoughts and prayers are much appreciated. I'm not sweating the treatments, but since I live 60 miles from my VA Hospital I will be staying in a hotel five days a week. PITA having to pack up my coffee machine, laptop, clothes, etc. every Sunday and unpacking every Friday. Beats the hell out of driving every day though!
I plan to reward myself after it's all done. Gonna get my new Helix SCIC, ceramic coated catless DP, and a Manic stage II tune installed.Hope to have the Mini and myself ready for the fall event at the Dragon. Hated missing the spring event, but you can't run the Dragon with one arm disabled. Y'all have a good day.-

Today is (well would have been) my Dad's 94th birthday. Love and miss you Dad!
Secondarily, I gifted our 525i to my Son today. Well, gifted on paper that is... He and Grandpa were inseparable (he's named after him ya know) and it seemed like a fitting thing to do.-

Today is, well last night was, the day a few friends and myself decided to create our own MINI club! [emoji2]
It will be a long process to get everything set up, but it will be worth the work.
Now figuring out how to get it started without rustling too many jimmies in MINI-5280, and MINI-COW, that's going to be a small issue. But it has to be done! The Front Range needs a club for the younger more active MINI owners in CO, without dues, fees, drama, and rules, just some simple guidelines from the 4 founders, and a guaranteed good time. [emoji2]
So Mile High MINIs will live! [emoji12]-
