Glad Ohio didn't pick the beautiful Ash tree.... The Emerald Ash borer has had a field day here locally.... When/How did it get here? .....EAB was first detected in southeast Michigan in 2002. While it is not exactly certain on its mode of arrival, it most likely came in ash wood used for stabilizing cargo in ships or for packing or crating heavy consumer products. It was first detected in Tennessee in July 2010 at a truck stop in west Knox County off of I-40 near the Loudon County line.....
Today is... Name Your Car Day http://www.motoringalliance.com/forums/mini-stuff/7394-your-minis-name-how-did-you-pick.html#axzz2gZUFRPWw
Email your MINI’s name, model and registration, plus your name and address to facebook@mini.co.uk. Then we’ll register it for you and send you an official Certificate.
What "registration number" are you referring to" I have a Virginia registration (or will have once my MINI arrives). Is there a separate MINI registration number?
Registration Number= License Plate Not 100% sure this is available for US residents. It was done by MINI UK. Nothing to lose by trying though.
Today is... International Moment Of Frustration Scream Day I think we need more than a moment for this as of late. But not here on M/A We've been having FUN!
Yesterday I washed and vacuumed my ride and went to an awesome party with my real RM friends. All friends / misfits from the DRAGON just like me. Today I topped off my car with fresh tank of 93 octane from Sunoco and Rain-Xed all the windows.
My oldest daughter in Alabama, who's never seen my Roadster (or any Roadster for that matter), described the vehicle to my wife as "Dad's Barbie car". Argh! Admittedly, it looks small and not particularly mean, ferocious, masculine, or aggressive as a Panzer tank in computer photos, but "Barbie car"? I suppose I'd consider disowning her if I didn't love her so much.
