Yeah, it's the Morse Road headquarters. The Cafe behind the main entrance... They told me the other day they want 10-15 more tables and they'll get with me once they decide...
I'm thinking this would be as good time to "secede" from the Union again, but then the MoM folks would need a passport to get to MOTD. Jim
Day is half done, that's close enough for me! Besides, the NHL playoffs are going on! That makes every day a better day.
National Grilled Cheese day... And on this day in 1981 the first flight of a space shuttle, The Columbia, on the STS-1 mission.
The Ford Mustang made its debut at the World’s Fair in New York 48 years ago today, going on sale April 17, 1964.
:cornut: I remember that well. We lived in Annapolis, Md at the time and mom worked at Universal Motors Ford dealership. She came home telling us about the new Ford Mustang and how they were all sold out the first day, before they even reached the dealership. She told how about 250 of the 1000 senior class graduating Naval Academy Midshipmen had come in and purchased them sight unseen. I saw Midshipmen driving them before I saw one in a show room. Jason Thanks for the nostalgia Nathan
My Dad bought the very first Mustang here in Winston-Salem for my Mother, a 1964 1/2 dark blue convertible with a 289!! Funny thing is that she was pissed at first, thinking it was just a doll'd up Falcon, wasn't long at all before she realized that it was so much more....still have fond memories of her taking me to school in it with the top down!!
