Keith, I for one appreciate all the post you do here as I'm picking up a lot of good info here that I'm soaking up like a sponge.

That's not a bad thing... The purpose of the wax is to protect your paint from the elements

On washing & waxing, think worthy workout. Mr. Miyagi preached it long ago.:D

:cornut: Redbeard I really did entertain that idea also. Man I really and truly wanted a BOSS 302 MUSTANG LAGUNA SECA in the worst way. We have a men's coffee clache down here in Sherman,TX of which I'm the youngster at 60yo. All of us combat veterans and half of them retired peace officers. I told them about my wish and half of their jaws hit the table. Are you crazy? Have you lost your marbles? You couldn't afford to keep gas in that thing. You'll need two part time jobs to fill it up. Alas, of course they were correct. Another half baked pipe dream down the tubes. I went to the parking lot and asked MINI Margi for forgiveness and haven't(that I'll admit to) given it another thought. I also don't think that it would be as much fun driving the deserted two lane winding farm to market roads to and from school every day and passing the occasional Mustang.

Keith has been a great resource to the MINI community for a long time. I'm always on the lookout for his posts.

If I knew a wash and wax would bring rain to San Antonio I'd be out there right now!

In March of 2014 Keith did a pulley install for me. He has as small home not far from me, but was spending most of his time working in Houston. I'm not sure if he gets back here to San Antonio area very often. He was great to work with and very thorough! He sent me pics of everything as he went along.
