I am wondering if any one has run across on Amazon some genuine Mini Water Proofing for the convertible top, preferably that qualifies for prime shipping? I ask because my local dealer (Mini of Seattle) charges an arm and a leg ($12.50) to ship that bottle to my house, but it is also a pain to drive an hour and half just to save on shipping. I am in need of some, But I really don't feel like spending It's bad enough that I have to pay Seattle sales tax on it of 14% so it cost 4 on a $12, I don't want to pay almost half the cost of the item in shipping, to ship it all of 82 miles. (super slow too)

    2 good choices. I use the 303.

I used that Kiwi stuff on my raincoat, it's not as good as 303 convertible top cleaner/protectant.

The stuff above beads on Driveways and Concrete.

I use it on grill covers, deck chairs, deck umbrellas and carwash shoes.

Never used the Kiwi product before. I've always had great luck with Ragg Topp.

+1 for the 303. Have used it for my Jeep.
May try the Rust-Oleum next time.

I have a friend who does custom upholstery on antique cars. He told me that all of the major top mfgs. recommend 'Raggtopp' products. I tried them...I don't like them. I have bought 303 products for my next go round, after I dye my top to get rid of the worn look. I am intrigued by the other waterproofing products which I have had good luck with when camping. I'll let you know....

What are you using to dye the top? My other car has that worn look that I want to fix before treating it with some 303.

There is a convertible top dye kit from ForeverBlack that I was going to try. However, mine is an issue of wear on the top bows and a little discoloration on the rear sides. A local top shop told me that this is caused by the 'finish' of the fabrick and dyeing would not help. I tried with some Rit dye and also some black leather dye to touch up the areas and it didn't do much good. So, I just drive with my top down...
