there's so much more to be concerned about these days. it's unfortunate that this is what causes a stir.
fantastic show regardless.

See......
You mess with someones religion or, or, or, NASCAR, you might get stomped. -
Hey don't be talking smack about NASCAR..... lol

I loved the baby Stig-sus, but then I'm just your average heathen anyway. Really people, it's a joke. They didn't even mention zombies - that would have really pissed people off.

The big problem noe-a-days is:::::
Most people just do not have any sense oh humor at all. I'm a Baptist and sure did not see anything wrong with that skit. It's not like anyone was saying that the Birth of Jesus or religion is wrong or putting anything down.
At least Christmas was on someones mind to even come up with this.
I think only the Muslim and Christian religious ""FREAKS"" were offended by this.( Everything offends these idiots) The True Religious believers probably liked it. -
Agree, I'm a Christain too and found no problem with it.. Seems these days now no one can take a joke for what is and we can hardly do anything in jest without offending someones self perceived sensibilities ...
Get over it people, its a joke that's all.... -

As a Christian I was slightly offended. It was a joke and for those who've watched TG over the years they've put down every group equally. How many times has Jesus been spotted in the audience already. If you're new to Top Gear perhaps you took a greater offense. If you've already been dullended by the previous attacks, perhaps (as my kids would say) "like you just went 'meh'"

It seems to me that there were enough tongue-in-cheek, genuinely funny precursors (e.g., the loaves and fishes scene, Jezza "healing" James and himself, the walking on water attempt, the mouse in the stable, etc, etc) that anyone who suddenly decided to claim indignation with the ending either: (1) wasn't paying very close attention; (2) is totally unfamiliar with the show; (3) has insecurities about their own personal beliefs; or (4) all of the above.
This regularly practicing and active Methodist thought the whole show was LOL fantastic. -
