:cornut: No none. I guess that the R53 gear heads will be along shortly so I'll just 'bump.'

Nathan, I'm sure you did the same research as I, as far as I can guess, it has to do with a combination of extreme cold & torque limiter settings, but that's just a stab in the dark?

Did the throttle come unplugged? Might want to check and/or clean out that connection.

I got that code while teaching my daughter to drive. She is learning standard. She stalled a few times and was driving on mostly low RPMs. After a few stalls the check engine light came on. Knowing that we never got much over 2000 rpm and lots of stalling that first day of driving, I figure that would confuse the ECU. Using my scan guage II, I reset the code and I drove around a bit at normal driving and the code never came back.

Also, my kid can drive standard pretty well now. Rarely stalls even starting on a hill now :D

I had this code last fall in pretty much this same scenario. I researched it and saw references to it being either cold or tune related. I am not tuned nor was it cold out and I just dismissed it due to only coming on once.

So far it has not come back. Then again I've not driven when it has been as cold as it was that day.

Hopefully was just an anomaly that will not be revisited.

Had my MINI out for exercise the other morning.....mid 20's F when I got the same warning (drive home abet slowly). After about a mile the code cleared and the daily exercise routine continued without problem. So perhaps a quirk of the MINI?
