Hey everyone, I recently purchased an r53 that I found out had been wrecked in the front. Whoever repaired it left quite a bit out and just didn't do well. So I have been slowly but surely piecing it all back together with brand new parts from bimmerspecialist.com
My issue is, today when I had the front bumper off I noticed I have nowhere to screw in a tow hook up front. I like the aftermarket tow hooks for these and would love to get one. Can someone give me a part number or a link to the part that I am missing that the tow hook screws into?

Here's a semi blurry picture for reference.

you appear to either be missing or have taken off the alum piece that runs just behind the cover to protect the radiator and other stuff and what part of the cover actually screws too.

The toe hook screws into it....

They didn't replace the bumper carrier! I'd be leary of other "repairs" they did...

    Just a suggestion.....
Maybe give Way Motor Works a call. They were parting out some MINI's and may have this part at a very reasonable price versus "new". If not, check out some of our sponsors.... They can get you new OEM parts at a very reasonable price.....

A quick check...... bimmerspecialist.com has the part at $353.00, one of our sponsors has the same part at $234.00..... Support our guy's and help yourself at the same time...

No doubt.. Without it there is not much supporting the cover.. The next fender bender is pushing it and the radiator right into the engine real quick..

Thanks guys, yeah it looks like I'm missing more than I thought. I tried to get ahold of Way Motor Works, if they don't have one I will just order one from one of the sponsors. I assume there should be big foam bricks behind the bumper as well? This may be something I'm better off finding at a junk yard.
