Soooo, you've been looking for a bolt that screws into the MINI tow strap location......???? And you can't figure out why nothing fits???? Well you won't find a specific bolt per say..... But there is a simple "work around".... The hole that accepts the stock MINI tow hook is something call ACME threads. And in the MINI case, it's 5/8"-8. What's available from various suppliers like McMaster-Carr, is a ACME stud or threaded rod and ACME nut.
Jim Jim Jim..... It's not to attach the same MINI tow hook, which obviously screws into the bumper hole. It's in case you want to attach somptin else or different..... Maybe you want to attach a camera mount to that hole, or maybe one of those strap type tow hooks..... Or maybe you want to bolt on an old chickin carcass.... It's just a way to use the stock threaded bumper hole for sumptin else....
You can use the ACME bolt to attach a variety of ACME products from the ACME Catalog Warning to all MINI owning Coyotes, ACME products may cause you more harm then their intended targets.
Now I see. It's justa bolt, that you can use for justa-bout anything, justa in case you need one, but will it work on an "S"? Jim
