You absolutely can flat tow a stick shift MINI, many have done so. You absolutely cannot flat tow an Automatic MINI.....your choice then is a tow dolly or trailer....both of which are kind of a PITA as you have to park them as well as the motorhome. Remember, you absolutely cannot back up when you have the car in tow unless it's on a trailer.
Flat towing a small car behind a motorhome is the only way to go IMHO - if you're gonna travel by RV. Nothing more frustrating than trying to park a large RV to go to a restaurant to eat or stop in town to shop or whatever, much easier to park the RV at the campsite and then use the dingy to day trip, shop or whatever.
The most popular dingy seems to be a Jeep, followed closely by a Saturn Vue - there are kits you can buy to flat tow an automatic - it consists of a 12V electric pump that circulates the trans fluid and keeps the innards lubricated when the engine's off, but there is no such thing for the MINI automatic AFAIK.
If you have a stick it's easy peasy, just make sure you're in neutral and the key is in and the column unlocked. A friend and I flat towed a classic Mini behind a 2002 MINI this past summer all the way to San Diego and back.

Are you looking to flat tow it?
If you are looking to tow it on a rig that keeps the front wheels off the ground, I would thing it would be an easy car to tow. But, I don't know if the FWD drivetrain will flat tow.
You may also want to check some RV forums.

It's been done...
I'd rather tow an RV with a MINI...a cute teardrop....
Seriously....I have passed a couple on the highway.
Imo DO get the shield's for the front of the car and windshield....and good mudflaps on the RV....
Guessing they were all stick cars....simplest too tow...
A trailer might be needed on the auto cars....with the tranny pumps, etc... -
I'm trying to figure out what the options are. Can I flat tow? Do I have to put the front wheels on a tow dolly. I was wondering if anyone has already researched this and might know.
