You can have any color you want....

    As long as it's black.

No, we haven't considered colors - what's wrong with black? Adding color will add cost... And then, we won't be able to please everyone with the color offerings. We have to do these in somewhat largish batches to make it worthwhile.

Ugh, again with the colors. We'll do our best to get sales up over several hundred a month - then we can look at a color pallet. Otherwise the costs are prohibitive.

Yes yes, red/blue/yellow/orange/purple/green is always the fastest.

We can't afford to buy in quantities great enough to stock several colors just yet, but we aim to!

Give it time... Every '04-'06 Mini out there needs this mount. If not now, eventually. My replacement OEM mount failed after about two years.

To be honest, I was ready to leap at this mod because--like most '05 owners--I've had the OEM mount fail and puke. I became squeamish when learning that the mount's design temperature range for the 70 Shore A polyurethane is 0 - 120F ambient. I'm not worried about the heat, it's the cold that seems to pose a risk to me.

There are often times where my MINI sits in the MSP airport parking ramp over the winter and it's -10F or even colder out when I come back to pick it up. The prospect of the material becoming brittle and cracking and failing in the MN mid-winter when I'm two hours drive from home is not appealing.

I fully understand why TSW didn't feel compelled to invest the resources in life testing of this part's durability at those cold temps since it represents a very small range of expected operating conditions; however, I've made the choice to wait and see if others of the northern climes with this mod remain satisfied with its cold worthiness.

    "Is this heaven?"
    "It's Iowa."
"Iowa? I could have sworn this was heaven."

I think I can say with reasonable certanty that my Mini will not see 10 below here in Texas...
