I just installed the TSW X Brace on my R53. I was questioning if anyone used additional washers or just used the original bolts and tightened it up ? Thanks for any replies.
Call WMW (Wal-Mart Motor Works) as WMW owns TSW now. FAIR WARNING Don't be surprised if Waylon is a d-bag on the phone since you did not buy the part from him. Way Motor Works 3115 Marjan Dr Atlanta, GA 30340 CALL US: 770-234-9965
check your motor mounts as worn or failed mounts can lead to excessive movement under acceleration. Are you running the stock header and cat? If not, it could be the fitment of the new parts, or a combo of them and worn mounts.
According to a post made on M/A by WMW on 11/28/2010 Link to that thread This is a review of the product with installation pictures, http://www.motoringalliance.com/library/1st-generation-mini-cooper-product-reviews-7/texas-speedwerks-x-brace-for-the-r50-52-and-53-1/
