Man no one should have to go though all of that. He is one tough guy for sure. I hope he makes it back to competitive driving. Keep on truckin Memo!

We got to watch the race without all the talking heads and ads. But, we do live only 26 miles north of the track. At the track, there were jumbotrons with a live feed of the race - a feed without ads and talking heads. Would be nice to find a way to get that TV feed at home.-

I expect there will be more than a bit of grumbling about that since it fits in with the uncertainty teams (and pundits of all sorts) complained about last year wrt the rules and the seemingly random disparity of their application. One of the changes teams said they're looking for this year to decide whether to take the series seriously going forward is consistent and predictable officiating.
This would be an example of so far, not so good. Hopefully the griping will be tempered a bit by the fact they improved the rule as soon as they realized it needed to be changed, so going in the right direction.

When I learned the Taylor car/crew would be classified as last of the prototypes I guess I assumed that meant the last of those still in competition when the race ended.
Wrong.
Last of the prototypes puts them 52nd of 53 because the DeltaWing DNF'd early.
Revised results here: http://f.cl.ly/items/1e2w3C0R442M433C3d2X/TUDOR%20Championship%20Rolex%2024%20Daytona%20Race%20REVISED%20Provisional%20020315-1.pdf
This is still much better for their season going forward than it would have been had IMSA not revised the rule for them after the race. They still get championship points. So, they got 16 points and lost 15-17 (depending on whether they'd have finished 2nd or 3rd) rather than 31-33. Supporting a MINI team has nothing to do with supporting a race series that doesn't support the local economy. I still don't understand why they don't have Mid Ohio on their schedule. I continue to support Michael Shank Racing and Tudor has nothing to do with that support. It appears you're looking behind the curtain for something that's not there.

Oh boy a good old fashioned piss off. Don't piss into the wind guys.
It is a real shame that by the time RSR got competitive their cars were no longer allowed in the series. No idea why MINI didn't help them, a very stupid move for sure. Can't blame RSR for moving on to a different car. The Honda was a known package that did not require them to sort it on with their own funds.
Mid-Ohio is not going anywhere. They have cut back on maintenance of the infrastructure & raised prices to uncomfortable levels. That doesn't make me happy, but that doesn't matter to them. They will keep chugging along. Heck even Nelson Ledges manages to hang on.
If they drain Buckeye ocean there will be carp for the picking.-

I watched the race most of the day. I started on TV then like Nathan on my iPad in the garage as I worked on cars. I quit for a little bit then I was going to watch the end. But the streaming had stopped then cable went out when it came up I realized it was on Fox2.....I don't get that station. :mad2:

Yeah saw that and the dudsiel is broke now too..... As much as Mazda is doing right right now, this Tudor thing needs to improve sooner than later, it is doing nothing for their image.

I assume you mean the SCCA runoffs. If so, yes, first time since 2005 according to this: https://www.midohio.com/News/2016-SCCA-National-Championship-Runoffs-To-Return-
